The US House of Representatives entered day two of 'Crypto Week' with heated debates over three key bills: the GENIUS Act, CLARITY Act, and Anti-CBDC Surveillance Act. A procedural vote to advance discussions failed 196-223, with 13 Republicans joining Democrats in opposition. The stalemate leaves the legislative path forward uncertain.

The GENIUS Act, a stablecoin bill with bipartisan Senate support, faces House resistance. Democrats criticize its failure to prevent presidential profiteering from stablecoins like USD1, tied to Trump-affiliated World Liberty Financial. Representative French Hill defended the bill during Monday's Rules Committee hearing, arguing Trump's role as a company owner—not issuer—renders amendments unnecessary.
